1. WAKE UP EARLY
Don’t waste your day in bed or hit the snooze button twice and then be rushed around. Leave enough time for your morning routine so you can set yourself successfully for the day ahead.
Clearing your mind to find some clarity before your hectic day is absolutely important for starting things off on the right foot. Try focusing on your breath for just 5 minutes each morning before you get going.
3. DRINK A HOT GLASS OF WATER WITH LEMON
This is a great way to boost your metabolism and detoxify.
4. EAT A HEALTHY BREAKFAST
Don’t skip breakfast. Eating a healthy breakfast (even if you’re not hungry), will help to kick start your metabolism and digestion for the day. It will also curb those morning cravings where you may reach for sugar and avoid overeating at lunch.
5. BE PREPARED
This could include a packed gym bag, prepared lunches and snacks so you won’t be tempted with the fast food options near your work. For us, we also set our clear 3-4 objectives for the day that we know are the most important things to feel a sense of achievement today.
6. CREATE A TO DO LIST BEFORE YOU GET TO WORK
Write a to do list for the day and priorities. We write this over breakfast so that when we get to work, we don’t delay and can get straight into being productive. The first 2 hours of your day at work are the most productive, so make the most of every minute!
